Parc Sir George-Etienne Cartier Park

The ideal place to fully enjoy the sights of the prairies. Municipal campground with an interpretive centre, modern shelter and sports venues. Spend the day having a picnic and enjoy a game of baseball, soccer, horseshoes or beach volleyball. There’s even a disc golf course, home to one of only six courses in all of Manitoba.

Enjoy a peaceful, shaded setting equipped with modern camping facilities. The campground is located on the edge of town, 0.5 km west of PTH 75 on PR 305. There are a total of 54 campsites available, 14 full service (electric and water) and 40 non-electrical.

Interpretive Centre

Visit the Red River Valley Floods Interpretive Centre in the Sir George Étienne Cartier Park. The museum houses some of the rare photographs, artifacts, videos and interactive displays that highlight the overwhelming power of nature.

Cartier Park’s multi purpose facility is equipped with canteen, hall and change rooms. The four season park shelter is about 4,500 square feet in size and can either be used with the doors open to give it that outdoor feeling or with the doors closed to feel more like a hall.
